In addition to enabling visitors to experience the culture and customs of Polynesia, the higher purpose of the nonprofit Polynesian Cultural Center is to assist the young people of these island nations to obtain higher education at the adjacent Brigham Young University Hawaii.
Visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center helps contribute to the educational and cultural mission of the Center. Along with this, anyone is welcome to contribute to the purposes of the Polynesian Cultural Center through other means. Those further interested in supporting the educational objectives of the Polynesian Cultural Center and BYU-Hawaii students are invited to contact LDS Philanthropies, which oversees tax-deductible contributions to both institutions.
